Tracey Herbert, OBC, is a member of the St’uxwtews (Bonaparte) First Nation, located in the territory of the Secwépemc. She served as the First Nation’s only female councillor in the 1990s, and has been driven by a strong sense of responsibility to Indigenous Peoples for the past 29 years. Herbert chairs the Endangered Languages Project.
