Russell Hallbauer has been an integral part of the mining industry for 35 years. Prior to joining Taseko in 2005, he was a senior mining executive at Teck Cominco Ltd. and was chair of the joint venture Compañía Minera Antamina in Peru. Hallbauer is past chair of the Mining Association of BC and was president of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy from 2005 to 2006.
