Peter Brown is the founder and former chairman of Canaccord Financial (now Canaccord Genuity), which, under his guidance, became the largest independent investment dealer in Canada. Brown has served as chairman of the Vancouver Stock Exchange, BC Place Corp. and BC Enterprise Corp. As the federally appointed lead director and member of the finance committee for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games, he helped bring the 2010 Winter Games to Vancouver and Whistler.
