Michael Gilbert has worked in research and development for 20 years and held scientific and management positions at Cardiome Pharma, Active Pass Pharma and Merck-Frosst. In 2011, he founded Semios, which helps growers reduce and mitigate crop risks. Semios has been recognized as a global top 100 cleantech company by Cleantech Group.

WHAT’S NEW: In 2022, Sustainable Development Technology Canada announced investments to help Canada meet its 2030 climate objectives. Semios received $17 million in scale-up funding to expand its operations.
