Ken Beattie has been in the B.C. beer community since 1987. Since 2013, he has served as executive director of the BC Craft Brewers Guild, working with over 225 locally owned and operated craft breweries. Beattie is the lead administrator for the BC Ale Trail and a founding member of the Canadian Craft Brewers Association.

GOAL FOR 2022: To walk every day at least for one hour.
FAVOURITE MEAL: Wood-fired pepperoni pizza, a fresh draft beer and a cannoli for dessert.
FUN FACT: I completed my degree from Simon Fraser University 29 years after enrolling in 1984. Now that’s a gap year.
