A Métis man from northern B.C., Josh Nilson and his two decades in tech help lead East Side Games’ (ESG) business and culture. Under Nilson’s leadership, ESG has won the Business of Good: Indigenous Prosperity Award, been recognized as a Top 50 Mobile Game Maker and won Company of the Year: Scale at the Technology Impact Awards.

WHAT’S NEW: Took ESG public on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
GREATEST SUCCESS: Growing the company from a little startup in East Vancouver to one of the leading free-to-play mobile game companies in Canada, keeping the majority of the jobs in B.C. (and Canada).
