Joel McKay is an award-winning writer and economic development professional. He was appointed CEO of Northern Development Initiative Trust, the economic development organization for northern B.C., in 2016. He was appointed to the board of Destination BC in 2018 and the board of governors of the University of Northern British Columbia in 2020.
