Anthony Von Mandl

Founder
Mission Hill Family Estate

When the time came to invest in a winery, Anthony von Mandl could have opted to build in Napa or Washington state. Instead, he put down roots in his native B.C., in the then largely unknown Okanagan Valley wine appellation. He helped to pioneer the making of fine wines in a valley where grapes were first planted in the 1860s. His work led to international acclaim, and unprecedented investments in grape growing and winemaking.
