Michael McEvoy was appointed to a six-year term as information and privacy commissioner for B.C. in 2018. Previously, he helped lead the U.K. Information Commissioner’s Office’s investigation into Cambridge Analytica and Facebook. McEvoy is chair of the Asia Pacific Privacy Authorities’ governance committee and a board member of the Victoria Conservatory of Music.

FUN FACT: I am a passionate handicapper of thoroughbred horses. I try to visit the racetrack of every place I travel.
