Margaret Moss

Margaret Moss has been a nurse for 32 years and an academic for 22 years across four universities, including the University of Minnesota and Yale University. Moss was one of only two Indigenous women named to Forbes’ 2021 inaugural 50 Over 50: Impact list and is the first and only American Indian to hold both nursing and Juris doctorates.

GREATEST SUCCESS: Publishing first nursing text on Indigenous health.
Education: PhD, University of Texas Houston; Juris Doctor from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
Goal for 2022: Publish my memoir.
