While MLA for Vancouver-Hastings from 1991 to 2005, Joy MacPhail, OC, served as deputy premier, minister of finance and leader of the Opposition. With her husband, she owns OUTtv, the world’s longest-airing gay and lesbian TV network. MacPhail chaired the Expert Panel on the Future of Housing Supply and Affordability, which released its final report last year.
