Joanne MacLean was appointed president and vice-chancellor of the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) in May 2018. Prior to joining UFV in 2012 as dean of the faculty of health sciences, MacLean held appointments at the University of Windsor and Brock University. MacLean chairs the BC Association of Institutes and Universities.
