Jennifer Dyson was appointed the first female chair of B.C.’s Agricultural Land Commission (ALC) in 2018, and is the owner of Coleman Meadows Farm. In her role at the ALC, Dyson directed the revitalization of the commission and B.C.’s Agricultural Land Reserve program, which has been in place for nearly 50 years and is considered the most successful program of its kind in North America.

BEST HABIT: Strong work ethic.
TOUGHEST CHALLENGE: Misinformation through social media. Information access is primarily online, which plays a major role in the way people interact with information.
