Haig Farris, OC, is co-chair of the Creative Destruction Lab and founding chair of D-Wave Systems, which built the world’s first commercial quantum computer. He remains a board member of D-Wave. He was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2017 for his contributions to advancing Canada’s high-technology sector.
