David Hawksworth owns and operates Hawksworth Restaurant Group, comprising Hawksworth Restaurant at the Hotel Georgia, Nightingale and Bel Café (two locations). He is an accomplished cookbook author and is culinary partner to Air Canada. In 2013, he founded the Hawksworth Young Chef Scholarship Foundation and has given away more than $100,000 and countless hours of mentorship.

WHAT’S NEW: Last year Hawksworth established Nightingale Pizza and launched a heat-and-serve gourmet pizza line that is now stocked in more than 30 retail outlets across the province.
NEXT TRAVEL DESTINATION: West Coast Fishing Club, Haida Gwaii. It’s an annual trip for me in the summer – the lodge, the wildlife, the food and the fishing are all spectacular. Now that he’s old enough to appreciate it, I look forward to bringing my son along, too.
