Darren Entwistle, OC, joined Telus Corp. in 2000 as president and CEO and has become the longest-serving CEO among incumbent telecommunication companies worldwide. Under his leadership, Telus has evolved from a regional telephone company into a national data and wireless leader. Entwistle has received numerous awards, including the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal.
